The Artist Behind Neon Starling

Neon Starling is the creative studio of artist, Yulia Shpak.

A maximalist at heart, Yulia builds intricate, hand-painted visual worlds that demand close inspection.

Rather than forcing lines into rigid geometry, she allows her compositions to evolve organically on the canvas - where a single unexpected stroke can pivot the entire piece in a new direction.

Her work is a balance of intense rhythmic precision, vivid color, and spontaneous flow.

At Neon Starling, you are invited to experience Yulia’s intricate, handmade visuals that encourage viewers to look closer, stay longer, and ignite their own glowing fragments within a larger universe.

Studio Notes & Tools of the Trade

Some visual worlds are too layered to be contained by words. Neon Starling Originals are born from a compulsion to align a complex internal universe with physical reality.

Every Original Work is executed by hand using professional-grade tools, with a preference for high-saturation acrylic inks, Sakura Micron Pens, and Sharpie Creative Markers on heavy Canson paper.

Neon Starling's dedication to abstract visons brought to life with traditional tools of the trade gives each piece its rich, deep texture, intense color saturation, and unmistakable physical presence.

Originals are one-of-one, and shipping is personally handled by the artist.
