Where's my head is an early abstract musing by Yulia Shpak. The black pen work on white paper is expressive of the energy, confusion, and excitement of young adulthood.
The composition juxtaposes the bombardment of signals from the outside world with the calamity of one's own inner noise while celebrating the experience of both losing, re-encountering and exploring yourself. From 2004, this is one of the true originals, and stands the test of time.
As a one-of-one original, Where's My Head? offers the closest connection to the artwork in its finest form: handmade, singular, and rich with the visible movement of the artist's hand.
